COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT FOR BRYDGES PLACE
We have carried out a thorough Risk Assessment to enable us to deal with any potential areas of risk for our staff and members. This is a break-down of the areas we have addressed:
Entrance / lobby
On entering the building, there will be hand sanitation equipment for use by everyone.
Stairs
Due to the narrow and winding stairs, we have installed convex mirrors at each corner to enable sight of other members or staff currently on the stairs. Please check mirrors to make sure there is no-one either coming down or going up the stairs when starting to use them.
Staff PPE
Visors and/or masks will be worn by every staff member when serving food and drink to tables. There will be disposable gloves, bins for every room on each floor together with hand sanitation stations. Probe thermometers will be used for each staff member at the beginning of each service.
Cleaning
Frequently touched items will be cleaned after every use by staff: bins, brooms, mop handles, door handles, handrails, taps, switches, intercom, telephone, POS, probe thermometers.
Toilets
All single cubicles will have surface wipes. Please use the wipes to sanitise handles, any surfaces touched, and the flush mechanism. Toilets will be checked regularly by staff.
Spare toilet rolls will be kept in containers in each cubicle and hand drying towels will also be kept in dispensers, rather than being left on the side.
Kitchen
We have deep-cleaned and sanitised the kitchen during lockdown and installed more cleaning facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are kept high.
When any cutlery or crockery is removed from the dishwasher, the member of staff will be using disposable gloves to put the crockery into the storage cupboards.
Tables
Cutlery will be removed from the dishwasher by a staff member wearing disposable gloves, wrapped in napkins and/or paper sleeves, kept under cover and brought to each table in a container for each guest to take their own. Paper covers will be over the tablecloths for disposal after each sitting/set of diners. There will be individual hand sanitizers on each table for your use whilst dinning with us.
Glasses will be brought to the table as needed. They will be kept, upside down, on a table at each floor and covered.
Chairs
All chairs will be sanitised after each use by guests/sets of guests
Bar
Kept very clean and sanitised at all times. Table service only. Staff will use hand sanitation at all times.
Menus
There will be a smaller selection of dishes available; menus will be wipe-clean and sanitised after each use by guests.
Guests
Each table will have a form in an envelope to complete to give us a record of every guest – contact details etc – for track and trace purposes. This information will only be kept for 21 days and will then be destroyed.
Payment
Payment will be by card only.
Flow of members & staff
Please keep movement within the premises to a minimum. Please wear a mask or face covering when moving around the building. Masks and face coverings can be removed when seated.
Temperature
We request that everyone takes responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. However, we will have temperature probes available if necessary.
