A Private Members Dining and Social Club – established as ‘Two Brydges’ in August 1982 in the heart of London’s exciting theatreland - a stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square – with a membership list of approximately 1300 people from all areas of London’s arts and literary community with a smattering of characters from the journalist and legal worlds. The club was relaunched as ‘Brydges Place’ in June 2020 and maintains its unique ethos and decor.
We provide a warm, friendly and genuine Club atmosphere within a double fronted Georgian town house over five floors – with several dining rooms (some available for members’ private parties), a Member’s Only bar and Restaurant for members and their guests. Genuine home cooked British food (with an eclectic Continental twist) can be enjoyed throughout the day (with the kitchen open all afternoon from noon until late) in cosy open-fired rooms during the winter and bright cool spaces in summer. Lunch is available on the first floor from noon onwards.
Membership is open to all – with several different membership categories. Proposals are accepted with the nomination of one member or by meeting a member of our team to show you around the club and to introduce you to our unique setting. Regular Members events are held throughout the year and once you are a member you will become part of a community that, quite honestly, is widely regarded as the only genuine Club Family where friendships are forged and a warm welcome can be expected whatever the time of day. A discreet and unrivalled members/staff relationship is enjoyed by all and, since privacy is fiercely protected at all times, the atmosphere provides a real ‘home from home’ in the West End!
